Illus. with drawings by Lauren Jarrett. Jacket. First Edition. NY: Knopf, 1984.
Warmly inscribed & signed by Cunningham on the half-title: "To Floreine - Your contribution to this book is a great plus - + I love your gravy icing - Love, Marion." The inscribee was the mother of John Hudspeth, a close friend and colleague of Marion's, who introduced him to Chez Panisse, where he worked, sold produce to, and hung out for many years. His own inscription to his mother appears on the facing page, and references a recipe on page 332 contributed by her, for "Floreine Hudspeth's Hoosier Cake".
1" piece of jacket lacking from upper front panel, else very good and bright; a great association copy.
